Life at Robokidz

Where builders bring STEM to a million young minds.

We are a team of engineers, trainers, designers and operators who love making things and love seeing kids make things. This is what a week with us looks like.

What we are about

Four things we care about.

Not posters on a wall. These are the calls we actually make when the work gets hard.

Value icon — heart held in two hands (Kids first)

Kids first

Every decision comes back to one question: does this help a child learn to build?

Value icon — robot built from bricks (Build to learn)

Build to learn

We prototype, ship and iterate. A working thing beats a perfect plan every time.

Value icon — rocket launching past chequered flags (Move fast, finish)

Move fast, finish

Small teams, short cycles, and a bias for closing the loop rather than opening new ones.

Value icon — hand holding up a key (Own it)

Own it

You get real scope early. You also get the support to grow into it.

In frames

A look at life here.

Demo days, RPL week, chai and code, and the odd robot on someone's desk.

Perks and benefits

The good stuff

The things that make it easier to do your best work and switch off after.

Medical insurance for you and your family, from day one.

Perk icon — graduation cap on open books (Learning budget)

Learning budget

An annual allowance for courses, books, hardware and conferences.

Perk icon — calendar with a clock (Flexible hours)

Flexible hours

Own your calendar. We care about outcomes, not clock-ins.

Perk icon — laptop with block code and a robot (Team offsites)

Team offsites

Twice-a-year trips to reset, plan and actually get to know each other.

Perk icon — electronics starter kit in a case (Latest kits and tools)

Latest kits and tools

Robotics kits, boards and the software you need, on the house.

Perk icon — IoT home hub display (Mentorship Program)

Mentorship Program

Pairing team members with industry experts or senior engineers to accelerate learning and career growth.

Grow with us

Room to build a career, not just do a job.

  • Real scope and ownership early on
  • Mentoring from founders and senior leads
  • Certifications and skill tracks that count
  • Clear paths across product, delivery and centres
  • Internal moves encouraged as we open new verticals

In their words

Voices from the team.

I joined to write code and stayed because I watched a Class 7 student demo something I helped ship. That does not get old.

Every trainer here is treated like a maker, not a script-reader. I get to design my own sessions and see kids light up.

Fast is real here. I pitched an idea on a Monday and it was live for a school by the end of the week.

Events and rituals

How the year feels.

  1. Every Friday

    Demo day

Anyone can show what they shipped that week. Five minutes, working thing on screen, no slides.

  2. Monthly

    All-hands town hall

Founders share the numbers, the wins and the honest misses. Questions welcome, nothing off-limits.

  3. Quarterly

    Innovation Week hackathon

Down tools for a few days and build something new. Past winners have become real Robokidz products.

  4. August to September

    RPL Finals week

The Robotics Premier League finals. Teams, judges and a lot of cheering, and the whole company pitches in.

  5. October to November

    Diwali and festival celebrations

Decorations, food and a proper break together before the busy season ahead.

  6. Twice a year

    Team offsite

Out of the office to plan the next few months, and to remember we are people, not just Slack handles.

Come build with us.

If bringing robotics, coding and AI to a million young minds sounds like your kind of work, we would love to hear from you.
