School labs · Government of India initiative
PM SHRI (PM ScHools for Rising India) is the Government of India scheme that upgrades over 14,500 existing government schools into NEP 2020 model schools. Its saturation model funds modern labs, and Robokidz sets them up, trains teachers and keeps them running.

What is PM SHRI
Launched by the Ministry of Education in 2022, PM SHRI strengthens selected government schools, including Kendriya Vidyalayas and Navodaya Vidyalayas, into model institutions that mentor other schools in their cluster.

Competency-based, experiential and joyful learning, shown in practice for others to follow.

Smart classrooms, science, ICT, vocational and tinkering labs provided to every selected school.

Each PM SHRI school acts as a hub, guiding neighbouring schools to raise standards.

Solar, water conservation, waste management and safe, accessible infrastructure for all.
What we set up
Under the scheme's saturation model, schools are equipped with modern labs. Robokidz supplies and installs the ones we do best.

Integrated science
Physics, chemistry, biology and maths under one activity-based roof.

Digital and computing
End-to-end ATL setup as a listed vendor, equipment to training.

Robotics and AI
Our Young Engineers Garage lab, with kits, curriculum and trainers.

Innovation
Where ATL runs alongside PM SHRI, we handle both under one plan.

Skills
Hands-on skill modules mapped to local industry and NSQF.

Space and curiosity
Telescopes, sky sessions and a curriculum that sparks wonder.

Good to know
Schools managed by the Central, State or UT governments and local bodies, including Kendriya Vidyalayas and Navodaya Vidyalayas, are selected as PM SHRI schools through a Challenge Mode process on the official portal after their State or UT signs the MoU. Lab facilities are funded under the scheme's saturation model. Robokidz works with selected schools and their departments to plan, set up and run the labs. We are happy to help you understand what your school is eligible for.
